Building Your Mom Confidence

Being a Mom; True Quotes

Having a child is an emotional roller coaster. Your hormones are all over the place, your body has changed, etc.. Sometimes you feel like you do not have time to date, or you are too busy, too tired, etc.. We let crazy thoughts run through our heads like..who is going to want to date me I have 1,2,3…kids; I have a gained so much weight no one is going to want me, on and on with the excuses. There are so many excuses that we forget what reality really is. Often times we beat ourselves up about our finances, weight, schedules, etc.. you name it we have an excuse for it. So much so that our confidence is lacking.

In all the stuff we make excuses for the one thing we do not have time for is the picking apart our shortcomings, etc. Therefore, stop making excuses and beating yourself up because you are Super! You look amazing and you have to be confident in the new you. Everything you do, you have to do for you! We have to take a step back and look long and hard in the mirror because our worst enemy is often looking right back at us.

No you may not be the size you were before you got pregnant, yes you may have stretch marks, etc. but guess what that is alright. Those stretch marks are love lines in which you created the most beautiful masterpiece ever. Now it took me a long time to embrace my love lines but once I did I was on another level…LOL. As a woman we often take too many looks at the past instead of embracing how far we have come and what we have to offer. Therefore it is time to stand tall right now and embrace all that you are because you are more than enough!

There is no more time for excuse as you know what to do and that is to make time for yourself. Set some goals and prioritize what is important in your life. When your kids are at practice, taking a nap, etc use that time to breath, take a nap, go walking, do some exercise, etc. because once you build your confidence back up there is no stopping you. And let me tell you there is nothing more sexier than a confident mom!

WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT

So no, you may not be a size 2 and you can not fit into your old favorite pair of jeans and guess what that is perfectly fine. You have to find the size you can fit into and rock them like you own the company…ijs. We as women come in all shapes and sizes and we are stunning we just have to get that on the inside. You are not losing weight to catch a man, look like the girl next door, or the models on TV, etc. because everything you do has to be for the good of you! Be stronger than your strongest excuse!

“Many daughters have done nobly, But you excel them all.” – (Proverbs 31:29)
