Hi my name is Kippi and Welcome to my new blog…Let’s Talk With Kippi.
I would say my story started 19 years ago when I had my beautiful daughter. Although this was not in the order I had “planned” for my life it has truly been a blessing. Being a single parent was something that I had no interest in being as I was raised by a single parent however it happened. I was a single parent for 13 years and now I am married and have been marred for 6 years…wow.
So needless to say I was a single parent a lot longer than I have been a wife. Marrying my best friend came with 2 bonus daughters whom have added another level of joy to my life that I did not think was possible. So now, I have 3 beautiful daughters, an amazing husband and my story continues.
When my husband and I got married we decided to combine our passion to serve the youth and we established our consulting company Stevenson Speaks. With our company we focus on the personal and professional development of individuals, families, companies, etc.. The establishment of this company was truly the combination of the path that God wanted us to take however I still felt there was more that God needed me to do personally.
In the midst of spending some time with God and on my road to discovery, this blog has been developed. With this blog, we are going to have real talk about real joys, struggles, and achievements. I will highlight some tips I have learned along the way and the impressions God has laid on my heart to share.
With all the changes we go through in life there are certain things we go through as women and feel as though we have to carry the weight of the world on our shoulders. We often feel alone and we struggle internally. However, I want you to know that you are not alone and there is so much that God has in store for us.
Therefore, I will share with you some of my ups and downs thus far which includes discussing being a parent, being a wife, blended family, finances, sex, etc.. Along with ways to live our best life through traveling and of course…wine! All of this and more is in hopes to encourage, empower and most importantly to let you know that you are not alone!
